This ONE Thing Can Change Your Whole Business Game in 2016.

I want you to go back in your mind to January of this year.

2-Page Business PlanYes, I know it’s hard – that seems like so long ago, doesn’t it?

What were your plans for your business? What goals did you set? Take a moment. Remember that energy, that motivation, that determination to hustle.

Do you still feel that way today? Did you accomplish everything you set out to do?

If you did, I applaud you tremendously. Achieving a lofty goal isn’t easy. There’s just so much that you can’t predict, and so many events that can force you to pivot, withdraw, or change course altogether.

If you didn’t achieve all you set out to, this is not the time to feel guilty about it. (There is never a good time to feel guilty about it). Celebrate your small wins. Did you finally launch your business? Add 10% your revenue? Get 500 new people to your email list? Pat yourself on the back; you did everything you could, and it was enough.

But this is also the time to take stock of what’s possible for next year. Could you 2x, 5x or even 10x your already incredible accomplishments? What would you need to make that happen?

I’ll tell you what worked for me: having a clear, simple 2-page plan and surrounding myself with people who could support me in the implementation of that plan. That’s the ONE thing that made the biggest difference.

Sure, life got in the way a bit and my plans were implemented a lot later than I anticipated, but without my mastermind group and the help of last year’s participants in my 2015 Business Planning Challenge, I don’t think I’d have nearly as much clarity about how I want to help the world as I do today.

See, we often write up our plans on our own, in a little silo – in the kitchen, at a café, or just before going to bed at night. No one else sees the plan. No one is there to give feedback. No one is there to help us make it real.

Without the right people to give you feedback on your business plan or the support to implement and adjust it, the plan will most likely fail.

But when you have a circle of like-minded peers and experts around you to provide accountability and give you a little “push” when you need it, the chances that you’ll exceed your own expectations and goals is exponentially higher. And you’ll be able to help the people in your circle do exactly the same thing.

That feels GOOD.

I’d like to raise my hand and volunteer to be part of your supportive community – because boy, do I ever *get* planning.

What – or who – do you need to multiply your success in 2016? Comment below and share your thoughts; I genuinely want to read them.

Remember, you’ve got an all-access pass to my advice and support just by being here, reading this blog. I want you to know that. I’m your cheerleader – just tell me how you want me to cheer.
